I’ve been doing this for who knows how long. It’s a technique, or you may call it an invoked experience, but it can bring about a deep state of calm. I call the experience “Riding the Veil Between Worlds”.

*To begin find somewhere where you can sit or lay comfortably with your eyes closed. It is important to not be touching another living being during this experience. No plants, no animals, no humans. This is so that you can simply reside in your own energy and slide into the ride at your own pace.

*Once you are situated comfortably, begin to focus on your breath. Your focus on your breath should be so much that the sensations of breathing block out any other external sensations. You will begin to lose sense of touch, of the ground beneath you, and be focused only on the sensation of air passing through your nose, mouth, and lungs. Then you will begin to lose sense of sound, the ticking clock will become quieter as you allow the sound of your breath to become louder. As you adjust to the darkness behind your closed eyes your sight will become secondary to the mind visual of the air you inhale. You may begin to smell crisper air, taste something fresh or feel as though you are slightly cool.

*Allow yourself to breathe comfortably, do not force deeper breaths. In fact you may want to allow yourself to breathe more shallow as you drift into alignment with the veil.

*The veil is very fluid, and as you slid into it you will physically feel as though you are riding the swell of a gently rolling sea. Floating gracefully, weightlessly, and effortlessly.

*Stay in this state as long as you like. It is very easy to communicate with your spirit guides from this state.

*To come back bring back one sense at a time. Smell the room’s inherent smell, allow your tongue adjust back to a tasteless state, listen once more to the clock on the wall. Feel the ground rise up slowly to caress you. Finally, as you breathe in deeply now, open your eyes and adjust slowly.
